This book by the author Xosé Manuel Sánchez Rei, from Editorial Canela, relates the most important aspects of Seivane´s life, as an artisan and also taking into account his family, vital and cultural context.

It is organized in four parts or chapters. The first one refers to his origins and beginnings. The second one focuses on the development of the Obradoiro since 1939, when he built his first bagpipe. The third chapter is an approach to the craftsman from the impressions of different people linked to the world of bagpipes and Galician culture. And the last one is a compilation of melodies that accompanied him throughout his life, some transmitted and composed by him or dedicated to him. There are more than forty pieces transcribed by Daniel Bellón and Pedro Lamas.
