During the weekend of July 4th, 5th and 6th, we attended the “Heart of Craftsmanship”, the 3rd Convention of Galician Popular and Traditional Craftsmanship, held at Os Pendellos, in Agolada, Pontevedra. This is an initiative of the Galician Ministry of Economy and Industry, organized by the Galician Centre for Craftsmanship and Design Foundation.

There were live demonstrations of craftsmanship, lectures, exhibitions, workshops for children and musical performances. We gave a lecture, “Talking with the Seivanes”, introduced by the actress María Mera. The convention took place in a finely-restored seventeenth-century historical monument, an incomparable setting for this event.
