For the first time ever, this summer of 2005, the Obradoiro de Gaitas Seivane will attend the Lorient Interceltic Festival as exhibitors at the festival fair, sharing a stand with José Presedo – Master Gaita (Midi Controller), from the August 7th to 14th.

Seivane gaitas will be exhibited with the possibility of ordering them, playing and trying the instruments in person. It will also be possible to view a recently made DVD about the work carried out in making gaitas at the Obradoiro de Gaitas Seivane, in Cambre (A Coruña).

The presence of the Seivane family will almost be complete this year at Lorient, as the bagpiper Susana Seivane, Álvaro Seivane’s daughter, will also be there playing at two of the festival’s events: On the 8th August with the Bagad Kemper band (the ‘Sud ar Su’ show) and on the 14th August with all her musicians, to close the festival.
