Description:
Wood: Boxwood body and hand-carved olive or boxwood wood head.
Case: Embroidered brown of high quality.
Blowpipe: The mouthpiece is transferable, with its size being adaptable to the build of each person.
Sound Elements: The tri-tone drone emits the notes of the chanter, tonic, fourth and fifth. In this case, the tri-tone drone is prolonged from another smaller head. Both tubes, the melodic and pedal, are built in parallel from the same piece of wood, their common stock of the chanter and drone carries the carved head of an animal.
Fol: Gore-Tex®, very ergonomic with its size being adaptable to the build of each person.
Observation: This medieval muse is the result of the collaboration with the musicologist Raúl Lacilla. It is based on the stone representations of several churches and the iconographies of Cantigas de Santa María, from King Alfonso X, the Wise. This muse can be considered as the grandmother of all the European bagpipes.
