Observation: The origins of this bagpipe date back to the double flutes or the ancient “aulós”, several centuries before Christ. In ancient Greece and Rome they also played it under the name “tibia”. An evolution could be the old Italian Zampognas and Sordelinas or the Musette de Cour. This gaita is very interesting for certain repertoire due to its harmonic richness.
