Last Saturday, June 17, the Seminar about Chanter and Drone Reeds for Galician bagpipes took place in Melide (A Coruña). It was imparted by Rubén and Antonio González, and Xosé and Álvaro Seivane.
A lot of bagpipers and traditional music lovers attended to this event organized by the AGG, with the sponsorship of the Deputación de A Coruña and the collaboration of the City Council of Melide. As it was announced, they spoke about topics like the importance of the cane, the knowledge of the instrument, the incidence of the atmospheric factors, tricks to improve the tuning, etc.
